Unbroken-Line
Well, i guess this would be my last post on ridiculous-outfit.
Guess that i'm becoming too lazy to blog, and that the oath of secrecy has been broken. Initially, this blog was suppose to be meant for reflecting my inner most thoughts and feelings, but i guess this was never meant to happen. It seems more to me that this blog is meant for writing all the trival and petty matters of life and of those around me.
And so, I conclude, the end of the chapter, the line is broken. From this hour henceforth, ridiculous-outfit.blogspot.com is no more
Too be honest, having been with this blog for quite sometime and bearing 40-odd posts, i really can't bear to leave it, but, sigh.
I found something here, which kinda, sorta, maybe, most probably, highly possible, err..'paragraph?' or 'article'? 'short story'? Ah heck, who gives a frig, i'll just post the 'paragraph?' or 'article'? 'short story'? here.
Arvedui was the son of King Araphant of Arthedain.
He came to the throne in 1964 at the death of his father.
His name meant Last king, and he was named so because of a prophesy by Malbeth the Seer:
"Arvedui you shall call him, for he will be the last in Arthedain. Though a choice will come to the Dúnedain, and if they take the one that seems less hopeful, then your son will change his name and become king of a great realm. If not, then much sorrow and many lives of men shall pass, until the Dúnedain arise and are united again." — Appendix A: "Gondor and the Heirs of Anarion"
Arvedui married Fíriel, daughter of king Ondoher of Gondor, who was killed in 1944. This was the first renewal of contact between Arnor and Gondor, after a long estrangement, when both realized that both kingdoms were coming under simultaneous attack from the regrouping forces of Sauron (Angmar against Arthedain, the Wainriders against Gondor). At Ondoher's death, Arvedui sent messages to Gondor claiming the throne as a direct descendant of Isildur and as the husband of Fíriel, the only surviving child of King Ondoher (since the King and both his sons perished in the battle against the Wainriders). Arvedui was refused by Pelendur the Steward of Gondor: the Gondorians appointed general Eärnil as King instead.
Arvedui became King of Arthedain soon after, and in 1974 T.A. Angmar attacked again, driving the Dúnedain away. Gondor sent help in the form of a great fleet, but it was delayed and came too late: Arthedain was destroyed, and Arvedui fled to the Ice-bay of Forochel.
Círdan of Lindon sent a ship north to rescue him in 1975, and against the advice of the Snow-men of Forochel Arvedui boarded it, and was drowned. In this shipwreck the palantír of Amon Sûl and Annúminas were lost forever. A Gondorian army under Eärnur managed to destroy Angmar with help of Círdan, but Arthedain and all of Arnor were no more, and the kingship had ended.
Well, i suppose that to most of you guys out there, i'm pretty sure that this wouldn't make no sense to you. Sometimes i wonder, are there still anyone out there who still has Literature, or at least, the common sense to read and delve deeper? Geez. Not that i'm bragging or praising about myself...but, arr, who gives a damn?
The article on it's own is meant for casual reading, however, it also says that the line of kings is broken, and so does the fate of ridiculous-outfit.blogspot.com, the line is broke(althought it seems abit odd to associate a blog address with the line of kings. Wahahha!)

Damn..this holidays really suck. I'm either stuck with nothing to do, or too much school work to do. God damn it, this sucks.
Think i'm really going almost crazy over the J.R.R Tolkein's Middle-earth legendarium. Well, here is something to feed my obession...
At the birth of the son of Araphant he said
"Arvedui you shall call him, for he will be the last in Arthedain. Though a choice will come to the Dúnedain, and if they take the one that seems less hopeful, then your son will change his name and become king of a great realm. If not, then much sorrow and many lives of men shall pass, until the Dúnedain arise and are united again."
Regarding the summoning of the Dead by the heir of Isildur he said
Over the land there lies a long shadow,
westward reaching wings of darkness.
The Tower trembles; to the tombs of kings
doom approaches. The Dead awaken;
for the hour is come for the oathbreakers;
at the Stone of Erech they shall stand again
and hear there a horn in the hills ringing.
Whose shall the horn be? Who shall call them
from the grey twilight, the forgotten people?
The heir of him to whom the oath they swore.
From the North shall he come, need shall drive him:
he shall pass the Door to the Paths of the Dead.
Ónen i-Estel Edain, ú-chebin estel anim
Yeah, i'm crazy and don't ask me why i did this. You've no idea what a crazy mind can do.

Men, of all races were closest in spirit to the centre of the conflict, for Men possessed at once the greatest predisposition towards acts of greatness and darkness at the same time. Men's hearts were fickled and fragile things. The wills of Men could be swayed by pride, vengeance, greed and love. They sought to rise above themselves, to conquer their own base nature and prove themselves something greater and nobler, above temptation and human weakness.
Time and again, Men failed before the face of temptation, but time and again they crawled back to redeem themselveswith acts of valor and purity of heart.
Men fought to prove themselves worthy of their honour, and to conquer not only the evil without, but which lay within.

Sigh, must things really turn out this way?
Must we be at cold war with each other?
Why can't i just do something for the girl i love?
Why did i sacrifice so much for the girl i love?
Why did i endure so much humiliation and being the butt of everyones jokes for the girl i love?
Why doesn't she understand?
Why won't she understand?
Why can't she understand?
What happened?
How did things turn out this way?
Is it really impossible to be like the way we use to?
So many questions, so little answers.

Sigh. I'm losing the inspiration to blog recently. With so much stuffs coming through, i wonder if i can cope. Sometimes, i wonder if i've bitten off more than i can chew.
With so much suprise tests coming through, and my nangun i still haven't totally memorised the steps yet, clothes and slippers to buy...sighz, the list goes on.
Tired, so very tired.
My mind was in a total blank today. Wasn't even paying attention during OOAD(Object-Orientated Analysis Diagram). Not taking my usual notes and totally screwed up during the e-quiz. Had to rely on Poiks, else i would've been totally screwed.
Felt so sleepy for the entire day. Headed straight to bed the moment i reached home from school round 5:30. Slept like a log, till woken by my mum, asking me to have dinner, and headed straight back to bed.
It was about 9.30 when i woke up again to meet jur-style. Supposed to pass him some pineapple tarts and ended up walking to The Prata Shop. Crapped about each other till 11.
Haven been having any inspiration lately. So, avid fans of my blog, please pardon my not-up-to-my-usual-standard of English. Been having a rough patch, problems, refer back to top.
And Gladys still ain't speaking to me. Sigh

Recently i've been kind of addicted to this song. Haha, not that most of you would appreciate it. Since most of you are either the "punky-pop-rock" or "chinese-songs-freak". No offense to any of you guys out there, but this is just my feelings. Not many people just simply can't appreciate this kinda songs. And the title of this song is...Shakespeare In Love. Since mostly guys aren't the Lit type, i doubt you will understand it either. Well, to cut things short and make things simple and sweet, i shan't be putting what's all these about. Well, to those who are interested, you may come to me directly. I'll be more than happy to explain.
And so, the lyrics goes like this....
Shakespeare In Love
By Layla
He's fought and he's fallen
He's on his knees before he's on his feet
A sinister romantic
Oh, he's about to be and she's about to see
Teachin' torches to burn bright
She's hanging on the cheek of night
A snowy dove trooping with crows
He never saw true beauty till tonight
CHORUS:
She'll take him to the brink of deliverance
Show him that much
Oh, don't you know it
Oh, don't you know it
So he falls in love to feel that he's falling
She'll let him know his heart
Oh, don't you know it
Oh, don't you know it
That's Shakespeare in love
He's fought and he's fallen
He's on his knees before he's on his feet
A glittery romantic
Oh, he's about to be and she's about to see
His bounty's boundless like the sea
His love is endless, just as deep
The more he gives the more he has
`Cause both of them are truly infinite
CHORUS:
She'll take him to the brink of deliverance
Show him that much
Oh, don't you know it
Oh, don't you know it
So he falls in love to feel that he's falling
She'll let him know his heart
Oh, don't you know it
Oh, don't you know it
That's Shakespeare in love
That's Shakespeare in love
A sinister romantic
He's on his knees before he's on his feet
CHORUS:
She'll take him to the brink of deliverance
Show him that much
Oh, don't you know it
Oh, don't you know it
So he falls in love to feel that he's falling
She'll let him know his heart
Oh, don't you know it
Oh, don't you know it
She'll take him to the brink of deliverance
Show him that much
Oh, don't you know it
Oh, don't you know it
That's Shakespeare in love
That's Shakespeare in love
That's Shakespeare in love

Let me be the bandage for your bleeding;
Let me be the ocean for your tears.
Let me be the secret of your healing;
Let me be the song to still your fears.
Maybe a greater thing will happen
Maybe all will see
Maybe our love will catch like fire
As it burns through me
I'm bleeding - the pain's unbearable,
No, you wouldn't know.
I'm cheerless - and the tears fall,
No, they fall for you.

I'm so tired,
So very tired.
Whoever is up there,
Please, for once,
Listen, if not
answer my message.
I'm really very tired.
I feel so drained of
all my strength and willpower
that I onced possess or
ever trained for.
It like, I can't seem to
get out of this dark abyss
that I've willingly stepped into.
An abyss that i told myself
that must be avoided,
that i can avoid it.
But alas,
I'm simply too weak,
of mind, and of soul.
She's my everything,
one that i would've
willingly gave up
everything for.
But does she reciprocates?
I don't know.
On the surface,
all I see, is the bitterness
and chill of the Long Winter.
Where is the warmth and sunshine
that once premates everything in you?
Everything that i ever saw in you.
Each time you walk past,
all that i felt is cold, chilled air.
When was the last time i saw the
warmth in your eyes?
When was the last time i heard the
innocence of your laughter?
I so wish to give you up.
But I can't.
I so wish to forget you.
Yet I can't.
Why can't I be strong enough?
I'm such a failure.
Sometimes I wonder,
Why is it that,
if we are not meant to
be together,
why do our paths cross?
Are the Higer-ups up there
making sport of me?
I wonder.
Seriously.
Many told me to give you up.
And not without good reason.
I never could.
I will wait for the day,
for the courage to say
how much I love you.
If anyone up there receive this message,
please, send me a sign, or show me a
signal that you've heard and understood.
I once came upon this short story. It's pretty short, but it's very touching.
A man and God was walking along the beach together.
And each time he turned back, he would see 2 pairs of footprints.
However, when he was at the lowest point of his life, he looked back,
and saw only 1 pair of footprints.
And he asked God, 'God, why is it that when i'm at the lowest point of my life, you abandoned me?'
To which God replies, 'My son, when you were at the lowest point of your life, and you saw only 1 pair of footprints, that's when I carried you.'
